DiCaprio's Appian Way boards 'Freeing Flipper' documentary ahead of TIFF market sales

Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way has signed on to executive produce "Freeing Flipper," Deadline reports. The documentary charts Ric O'Barry, who trained the dolphins for the 1960s TV series "Flipper" before spending five decades campaigning to free captive dolphins. Dogwoof will launch international sales at the Toronto International Film Festival market. Barney Douglas directs.
