Arsenal bid £30m for Konsa as Saliba faces long injury layoff

Arsenal have lodged a £30m bid for Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa, 28, after France defender William Saliba was ruled out long-term with a back injury. Villa want near double. Konsa played all eight of England's World Cup matches and won the Europa League in May. Champions Arsenal reached the Champions League final last season.
