Switzerland selects Gaza documentary 'Who Is Still Alive' for Oscar submission

Switzerland has selected Nicolas Wadimoff's documentary "Who Is Still Alive" as its submission for the Academy Award for best international feature film, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture announced on 13 August (Variety). The Akka Films production gives voice to nine Palestinian survivors of the Gaza War. The international feature submission deadline is 30 September; the 99th Academy Awards ceremony is set for 14 March.
