Twitch executive says AI training is opt-out because nobody would opt in

Twitch is training Amazon's generative AI on all channel content by default. Chief product officer Mike Minton told GameSpot the setting is opt-out rather than opt-in because "if it was opt-in, nobody would opt in." Users can disable it under security settings, but the opt-out does not cover AutoMod, captions, or chat posted on channels that have not also opted out.
