Pokémon Bank shuts down 25 February 2027 — untransferred Pokémon will be permanently lost

The Pokémon Company will end Pokémon Bank service on 25 February 2027 at 7:00 p.m. PST. Any Pokémon remaining in the 3DS cloud storage app after shutdown will be permanently lost. The company advises transferring stored Pokémon to Pokémon Home, the successor app on Switch, iOS and Android. The transfer is one-way and becomes impossible once Bank goes offline. Bank has been delisted since the 3DS eShop closed in March 2023, so only existing installments can access it.
