Mozambique's "Chapa 100" Wins CNC Development Grant at 2026 Locarno Open Doors

Ique Langa's *Chapa 100*, a Mozambique-Portugal co-production budgeted at 1.1 million euros, won the 8,000-euro CNC Development Grant at the 2026 Locarno Open Doors, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 13 August. The surrealist love story, produced by Lara Sousa of Kulunga Filmes, was presented as a work-in-progress. Sales are handled by Luminalia, per Variety.
