Judge allows Kardashian-Jenner defamation suit against Ray J to proceed, trial set for March 2028

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Steven Ellis denied Ray J's motion to dismiss Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner's defamation lawsuit, ruling his statements could "reasonably be interpreted" as accusing the women of a crime. The lawsuit, filed October 2025, alleges Ray J falsely claimed they faced a federal racketeering indictment. Trial is set for 6 March 2028.
