Disney promotes Melissa Stone to SVP of Publicity across all film labels and Disney+

The Walt Disney Studios has promoted Melissa Stone from VP to SVP of Publicity, Deadline reports. She now leads global PR strategy for Disney Live Action, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios and Disney+. Stone reports to Martha Morrison, President of Studios Marketing. Her campaign credits include Avatar: The Way of Water, which grossed over $2.3 billion worldwide.
