Judge rejects Ray J's ChatGPT defence in Kardashian defamation case

Ray J told a Los Angeles court he believed Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner faced racketeering probes because ChatGPT said so. Judge Steven Ellis rejected the defence on August 11, writing that a jury could find ChatGPT "not a trustworthy or reliable source of legal advice." The defamation case proceeds to trial in 2028. Ray J's lawyer said they will appeal.
