Brunei Sultan strips prince's wife of royal title without any divorce announcement

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah revoked the title "Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri" from Pengiran Raabi'atul Adawiyyah, wife of Prince Abdul Malik, by decree effective immediately, the Office of the Grand Chamberlain confirmed on 7 August. The Sultan previously stripped two wives' titles only after formal separation. Neither spouse has announced seeking divorce. The four children's titles were unaffected.
