Sony renews Seinfeld with Netflix for five years and Paramount cable for three

Sony Pictures Television renewed Seinfeld licensing with both Netflix and Paramount, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 12 August 2026. Netflix keeps all 180 episodes with streaming exclusivity in the U.S. and Canada for five more years. Paramount retains U.S. basic-cable rights for three. Financial terms were not disclosed.
