Spider-Man: Brand New Day projected to cross $2 billion worldwide

After 12 days, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed $671 million domestically (the United States and Canada) and $1.68 billion worldwide, making it 2026's top film. Variety projects it will cross $2 billion globally at a near-record pace — a threshold only seven films have reached. It would be the first $2 billion release since Avatar: The Way of Water in 2022.
