Haruomi Hosono announces album 'Yours Sincerely,' shares Japanese-language cover of the Moonglows' 'Sincerely'

Yellow Magic Orchestra co-founder Haruomi Hosono will release his album 'Yours Sincerely' on September 11, 2026 through Ghostly International. The record includes a cover of the Moonglows' 1954 doo-wop single 'Sincerely,' written by Harvey Fuqua with lyrics by Alan Freed. Hosono's version uses voice and acoustic guitar alone, with lyrics he translated into Japanese. Pitchfork reported the track on August 12.
