Jon Hassell's First Posthumous Album, 'Music Is Invisible,' Set for October 2 Release

Trumpeter Jon Hassell's first posthumous album, "Music Is Invisible (Pentimento Volume Three)," will be released on October 2 via Ndeya, the label he founded. The four-song record captures his final live performance — a trio set with Rick Cox and John von Seggern at London's St John at Hackney Church on 23 May 2015. Hassell died on 26 June 2021, aged 84.
