European Royals Send Condolences After Colombia's Strongest Earthquake This Century

After a 7.4-magnitude quake killed more than 250 in western Colombia on August 10, King Charles III, King Felipe of Spain, King Harald of Norway, and Prince Albert II of Monaco each sent formal condolences. The messages follow protocol in which heads of state write one another after national disasters. Felipe noted 164 Spanish nationals among the missing.
