Helldivers 2 gets Devoid of Liberty expansion and joins PlayStation Plus catalog

Arrowhead Studios' Helldivers 2 launched its Devoid of Liberty expansion on 12 August 2026, the same day Sony added the game to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. The update adds two enemy types — the Wretch and the Crusher — SEAF ally platoons offering medical support, 300 unlockable ranks, and new secondary objectives. The game has sold 20 million copies since its 2024 release.
