FA charges Everton's Martin Sherif over 61 football bets

The FA has charged Everton forward Martin Sherif, 20, with breaching betting rules by placing 61 bets on football matches between November 2024 and February 2026. The Liberia-born attacker made his senior debut this season on loan at Rotherham United and Port Vale, scoring four goals in 27 League One appearances. He has until 17 August to respond.
