Television Academy announces first 78th Emmy winners in juried categories

The Television Academy announced 78th Emmy juried winners on August 12, 2026. Costume design went to FOX's The Masked Singer and Peacock's The Traitors. Animation awards were split across Disney+ (Eyes of Wakanda, Star Wars: Visions), Adult Swim's Primal (two awards), and Prime Video's The Mighty Nein. Juried categories use peer panels with no nominees. Main ceremony follows on September 14, live on NBC and Peacock.
