Standards body probes Reform UK's Tice amid widening party finance scrutiny

A parliamentary standards watchdog is investigating Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice as scrutiny of party finances deepens. The Guardian uncovered a covert £1m donation through a Tice-linked vehicle and a hidden £5m gift to Farage before the 2024 election. Labour says Reform returned nearly £200,000 in noncompliant donations. Tice and Farage have sued the National Crime Agency.
