BMG joins Warner in building Suno's licensed AI models to replace unlicensed originals

BMG and Suno co-announced a global licensing deal on August 12, 2026, covering BMG's recorded and publishing repertoire. The opt-in agreement compensates participating BMG artists and songwriters and settles prior unlicensed use. BMG is also co-developing Suno's next-generation licensed models alongside Warner Music Group, intended to replace the current models still under litigation from Universal and Sony.
