Joyce hits back at One Nation candidate's homophobic remarks

One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce called his party "one of the gayest parties in Australia" after the ABC aired comments by former WA candidate Parminder Singh, who said gay people have a mental illness. Joyce branded the remarks "highly offensive," cited gay SA MP James Virgo, and dismissed Singh's claim that animals aren't gay: "he obviously hasn't been around farms."
