Death Note: The Musical opens at the Barbican as first fully staged English-language production

The manga-inspired musical by composer Frank Wildhorn and lyricist Jack Murphy runs at London's Barbican Theatre, 30 July to 12 September 2026. It is the first fully staged English-language production of the show, which premiered in Tokyo in 2015. A West End concert version was staged three years prior. Stephen Whitson directs; Xander Pang leads as Light.
