Magna Studios signs Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard for commercial and longer-form work

London-based Magna Studios has signed BAFTA-nominated filmmakers Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, Deadline reported on 12 August 2026. Magna will handle their commercial and brand representation and develop longer-form projects with them. The pair directed the Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days on Earth (2014) and Broken English, a Marianne Faithfull documentary that premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Magna, launched in 2025 by Davud Karbassioun and Marissa Clifford, previously signed Chiwetel Ejiofor, Asif Kapadia and Brady Corbet.
