London studio A-nrd stripped layers of prior additions from a 19th-century listed building on Bath Street in Glasgow to expose original brick walls and wooden floors, creating Arthouse Glasgow, a 76-room hotel and the debut property of British hospitality brand Oberland. A birdcage lift, stained-glass windows and tiled walls were preserved. Rates start at £99.
