Port Adelaide's boot studder Alfie Trebilcock calls time after 58 years

Alfie Trebilcock, 84, works his final home game for Port Adelaide on Saturday night against Melbourne at Adelaide Oval. The boot studder — who fits and adjusts screw-in studs on players' boots — started at the club in 1968 as a young butcher from Broken Hill. He served through 11 SANFL premierships and the 2004 AFL flag, and received the AFL's Jack Titus Award in 2013. Port Adelaide made him a Life Member in 1979 and inducted him into the club's Hall of Fame.
