
WGA slams Ellison's threat to move Paramount as Oct. 1 ticking fee looms over Warner Bros. deal
The WGA has condemned Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison's threat to pull Paramount from California unless the state drops its antitrust suit blocking the $110 billion Warner Bros. acquisition. From October 1, Paramount begins paying a daily ticking fee to Warner Bros. shareholders — exceeding $1 billion if the case reaches its March 2, 2027 trial.
