Lethal Weapon 5 script finished, stalled by Warner Bros.-Paramount reshuffle

Mel Gibson told Collider at Fan Expo Boston that he and Richard Wenk completed the Lethal Weapon 5 script, but the film is "tied up in some kind of industrial film hell." Gibson said Warners "got into trouble" and the project "got buried," with Paramount's David Ellison holding the key. He suggested it could appear "in another year or so."
