Rod Stewart cancels tour dates after coronary stent procedure; four-week recovery puts August shows at risk

Rod Stewart, 81, underwent a routine coronary stent procedure on Aug. 11 and will rest four weeks on doctors' advice, per a statement to Billboard. Cincinnati (Aug. 9) was postponed and Cleveland (Aug. 11) canceled. Des Moines, Kansas City and a Las Vegas residency from Aug. 14–18 are in jeopardy. The next confirmed date is Sept. 1.
