The Daily Show posts correspondent audition tapes on TikTok for 30th anniversary

The Daily Show marked 30 years by posting audition tapes of former and current correspondents — among them John Oliver, Samantha Bee, Ed Helms and Jessica Williams — to its TikTok account (@thedailyshow). The first compilation, "TDS Auditions Part 1," went up under the hashtag #TDS30. The show premiered on 22 July 1996 with Craig Kilborn as host. Deadline reported the releases on 11 August 2026.
