Jackie, bald eagle star of Big Bear livestream with 822,000 YouTube subscribers, dies at 14

Jackie, a bald eagle whose 24/7 Big Bear nest livestream drew 822,000 YouTube subscribers and over a million Facebook followers, died early 10 August 2026 after weeks of intensive care at the Ojai Raptor Center for severe anemia. She was roughly 14. Friends of Big Bear Valley confirmed her death. Her mate Shadow and two fledged eaglets, Sandy and Luna, remain.
