Newcastle sell Gordon, Tonali and Guimarães in one window

Newcastle have sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, Sandro Tonali to Tottenham and Bruno Guimarães to Arsenal in a single transfer window, per The Guardian. Gordon's wing pace, Tonali's midfield passing and Guimarães' drive from deep — the spine, gone. New head coach Matthias Jaissle, unveiled 11 August, inherits a weaker squad than Eddie Howe left.
