Three Royal Families Turn Out at Aachen Equestrian Championships

Queen Mary of Denmark, Infanta Sofia of Spain, and Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands — the Princess of Orange, first in line to the Dutch throne — attended the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany, which opened August 11. Catharina-Amalia, 21, has competed at Aachen before but is watching this year after a fall last summer broke her arm.
