Bow Echo: unbeaten colt and flat racing's biggest draw retired after training setback

Bow Echo, unbeaten in six starts and described as flat racing's biggest draw, has been retired after a training setback. Trainer George Boughey announced the news on 11 August 2026. The three-year-old won the 2,000 Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes this season. He was preparing for the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville. Dalham Hall Stud is expected to be his next home.
