Shatara Michelle Ford's second feature 'Dreams in Nightmares' opens in US theatres on 21 August via Lunette Films, per The Hollywood Reporter. The road movie follows three Black queer friends across the country; Denée Benton, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Charlie Barnett star. It premiered at the BlackStar Film Festival in Philadelphia. Ford's debut 'Test Pattern' drew Gotham and Indie Spirit nominations.
