Nasdaq agreed August 11, 2026 to acquire LeveL Markets, an off-exchange equity execution venue — meaning trades happen away from Nasdaq's public order book, in what's called a "dark venue." Terms weren't disclosed. Nasdaq calls it part of its "Always-On Markets" strategy. Closing is pending.
