SF Camerawork to Close After 52 Years

SF Camerawork, a San Francisco nonprofit photography gallery at Fort Mason Center, will close at the end of August 2026 after 52 years. The organisation cited rising operational costs, declining public funding, and a shifting philanthropic landscape. Its final exhibition, "John Chiara: Bay Panel," closed on 16 August 2026, the SF Standard reported. ARTnews and KQED confirmed the closure.
