Bezos in advanced talks for 30% stake in Liverpool at £4.6bn valuation

Sky News first reported that a consortium including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is nearing a deal to buy roughly 30% of Liverpool FC. Al Jazeera reported the deal values the club at about $5.9bn (£4.6bn), with the stake worth approximately £1.55bn. No deal has been formally announced. The consortium also includes Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
