'Godzilla Minus Zero' lands Spotlight Gala slot at NYFF64

Takashi Yamazaki's "Godzilla Minus Zero" takes the Spotlight Gala slot on September 26 at the 64th New York Film Festival, per Variety. The sequel to "Godzilla Minus One," which won the visual-effects Oscar in 2024, gives NYFF its most overtly commercial centrepiece. NYFF64 runs September 25 through October 12 at Lincoln Center and venues across all five boroughs.
