
Paramount CEO threatens California exit on 1 October if AG won't settle merger suit
Paramount CEO David Ellison told top executives he will start moving the company out of California on 1 October unless state Attorney General Rob Bonta settles the antitrust suit blocking Paramount's $110 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. Puck first reported the remarks; Deadline confirmed them on 11 August. Ellison said he does not feel welcome in California but is "absolutely open" to settling.
