Brandy to record theme song for Netflix's 'A Different World' sequel

Brandy will record the theme song for Netflix's 'A Different World' sequel, with her rendition opening each episode when the series premieres on 24 September, Deadline reports. The original 1987–1993 theme was performed successively by Phoebe Snow, Aretha Franklin and Boyz II Men. The 10-episode single-camera sequel is showrun by Felicia Pride.
