Uffizi Announces €50 Million Renovation Across Its Florence Complex

Director Simone Verde unveiled the plan on 5 August. The €50 million (US$58 million) project covers the main galleries, the Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens over two years. The Uffizi drew 5.3 million visitors across its three sites in 2025, making it Italy's second-most visited museum. A €12 million share funds exterior restoration and new climate-control systems.
