Epic confirms Sonic the Hedgehog for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, 'Override,' starting August 20

Epic Games confirmed Sonic the Hedgehog will appear in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled "Override," starting August 20, 2026. A nine-second teaser shows Sonic running through Green Hill Zone and Fortnite's Peely mimicking his Sonic Adventure run style. Leakers previously flagged Sonic alongside rumoured crossovers with Kingdom Hearts, Vampire Survivors, Persona, Minecraft and Tetris — none of those are confirmed.
