GMR settles copyright suit against Music Choice over 95 songs

Global Music Rights settled its copyright infringement lawsuit against Music Choice on August 7, with a US District Court dismissal filed in the Central District of California. GMR alleged Music Choice performed 95 compositions — including Springsteen's "Born to Run" and Eilish's "Bad Guy" — after their licence lapsed on December 31, 2025. Terms were not disclosed. Each side bears its own costs.
