ZZ Top will continue their The Big One summer U.S. tour without founding drummer Frank Beard, 77, who has played with the band for over 55 years. Billboard reported on 11 August 2026 that Michael Monahan will fill in. Two Southern California shows were cancelled earlier that week citing "unforeseen personnel matters"; Rolling Stone linked the cancellations to Beard's health.
