Paramount board approves five-year plan to leave California unless AG Bonta settles
David Ellison told his 12-member executive team on 5 August that the Paramount Skydance board has approved a five-year relocation plan to move most studio jobs out of California, Variety confirmed. Ellison will begin the move on 1 October unless California AG Rob Bonta agrees to settlement talks in the 12-state antitrust suit blocking Paramount's $110 billion WBD purchase. Georgia, Texas and Tennessee are under consideration.
