Spotify to label AI-generated artists with "AI Persona" badge from mid-September

Spotify announced on Aug. 11 that it will begin tagging AI-generated artist profiles with an "AI Persona" badge starting mid-September. Creators can self-disclose from Aug. 11; Spotify will also review accounts itself. Music from tagged profiles will be excluded from personalised recommendations such as Discover Weekly, Billboard reported.
