Paley Center launches PaleyFest Award: Billy Crystal and six series are inaugural recipients

The Paley Center for Media has created the PaleyFest Award, an annual honour tied to its 50th anniversary and the return of PaleyFest NY. Inaugural recipients are Billy Crystal and six series: American Horror Story, Dexter, Tulsa King, Marshals, The Diplomat, and The Gilded Age. Winners' work enters the Paley Archive permanently. PaleyFest NY runs 8–14 October at the Paley Museum in Manhattan. (Variety, 11 August 2026)
