London's Sid Motion Gallery to close after a decade, founder calls it "stopping while ahead"

The Art Newspaper reported on August 11 that Sid Motion will close her eponymous London gallery after ten years. Motion, who founded the east London space at 12 Felstead Road in 2016, framed the decision as "stopping while ahead." A final exhibition runs from September 18 to October 31, 2026.
