Bath to abandon The Rec for run-in and possible home semi-final

Bath will move their final two 2025-26 home fixtures — Harlequins (May 15) and Saracens (June 5) — away from The Rec to accelerate construction of their 18,000-capacity stadium. A home semi-final would also be relocated. CEO Tarquin McDonald confirmed the plan in an open letter. Bath finished second in the Premiership regular season with 69 points. The new stadium targets a 2028/29 opening.
