Game of Thrones stage adaptation opens at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon

The world premiere of "Game of Thrones: The Mad King," adapted by Duncan Macmillan and directed by Dominic Cooke, opened at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon in August 2026. The play dramatises Robert's Rebellion from Martin's novels. George R. R. Martin attended the opening. The run closes 5 September 2026.
